The idea behind zines is that they are easily reproduced and put in circulation – it’s a physical medium focused on communicating with as many people as possible and nothing else. No ads, no subscriptions, no paywalls. At a time in which substantial sections of the internet are put behind paywalls, while others are flooded with AI generated slop, this project aims to fight for the internet (and technology more broadly) as it should be – open, accessible, and fair.
All of the zines can be found and downloaded here and then folded following these instructions to make your own copy. All you need is a single A4 paper and somewhere to print in black and white.
If you read and liked any of the zines, you can print a few and leave them around (at uni, at libraries, in bars). A form of mini-resistance, if you will.
Good luck!
