Project Description:
The project consists of a physical fanzine (a hand-made publication) and an accompanying online article, which can be accessed through a QR code on the last page of the fanzine. Both deal with the physical realities of generative Artificial Intelligence, seeking to inform the reader on how generative AI works and the infrastructure and labour required to run it. The article includes a comprehensive list of sources, allowing the reader to explore the subject further. Additionally, the list of references ensures full transparency and academic honesty.
Mission:
The project aims to create an engaging and informative multimedia piece of work, combining a physical fanzine and an online article. The writing and illustration are targeted at a broad audience, hoping to provide an accessible introduction to the physical realities of generative artificial intelligence. Fanzine is available online for free and can be printed and distributed at will.
